Bible Plan Image Guidelines for Content Partners
Guidelines for the images attached to your new Bible plan.
Updated
by Abigail Olasubomi
Every Bible plan shared on YouVersion is required to have two (2) images attached: the pixel icon image and the pixel banner image. Please share high-quality images that are appropriate for a global audience. These guidelines help you choose the best images to attach to your plans.
- The images should match and/or complement the Bible plan.
- The attached images can be an illustration, a graphic design, or a photograph.
- Both images should be the same, with the only difference being their dimensions.
- The pixel icon image size should be 320x320 resolution, and the pixel banner image size should be 1440x810 resolution.
- All images must be less than 2mb in size.
- Please ensure you have the appropriate license to use any photograph you attach.
- Please avoid promotional content on your images. They should be free of QR codes, advertisements, and any logos.
FAQs
May I use AI to create images?
Yes, you may. However, they should not be photorealistic images (realistic-looking people, places, or scenes). AI-generated images must look like an illustration, not a real photo.
May I add text to the images?
Yes, you may. Texts like the title of the Bible plan, the number of days the devotional covers, and your name are allowed.
May I add the YouVersion logo to the Bible plan images?
No, you may not. The images should be free of any logo. However, you may add your name as text on the images.
