Create An Event

Events can only be discovered on the Bible App on iOS and Android. You can download the app here. Events on bible.com can only be viewed with the Event link.

How to Create an Event

To publish Events, your email must be associated with a church account on YouVersion Connect.
  1. Go to https://events.bible.com.
  2. Log in with the YouVersion account connected to your church account on YouVersion Connect.
  3. Select Create Event.
  4. Enter the name of the Event and the name of your church or organization.
  5. (Optional) Add an Event description and upload an image.
  6. Enter the Event location(s) and time(s).
  7. Add sections to your Event. You can choose from:
    • Text – Add custom content like notes or outlines.
    • Bible Reference – Highlight specific Scripture.
    • Plan – Link to a Bible Plan.
    • Image – Insert a supporting graphic or photo.
    • External Link – Direct attendees to other resources.
    • Giving Link – Provide a way for people to give.
    • Announcement – Share news or updates with your community.
  8. Preview your Event to confirm details are correct.
  9. Select Publish when you’re ready.

Publish Times

Published Events will take up 1 to 2 hours to show up in the Bible App. We encourage administrators to publish Events ahead of time. If needed, you can share the direct link to your Event before it natively appears in the Bible App.

There isn’t a way to change the administrator for Events, and currently, only one YouVersion account can be attached to Events.
There’s currently no way for the administrator to track who or how many people use an event.
