Custom Plan Collections - Tips + Best Practices

Updated by Jillian Galley

Unique Ways To Use Custom Plan Collections

  1. Organize Sequential Plans. If you have a group of Plans designed to be completed in a specific order, create a Collection featuring just those Plans. This makes it easy for your audience to follow the intended sequence.
  2. Group by Topic. Identify themes in your Plans that could form compelling Collections. These might be topical themes like hope, marriage, prayer, or justification, or biblically structured categories like Old Testament, epistles, Psalms, or minor prophets.
  3. Build Paths for Spiritual Growth. Create Collections that guide users or even other organizations, like churches, through discipleship. Examples include: New Believers, How to Pray, Sharing Your Faith, or Understanding the Torah.
  4. Highlight Seasonal Content. Capitalize on key times of the year, such as Advent, Easter, Pentecost, or Mother’s Day. People are often drawn to specific content during these seasons. You can even schedule Collections to publish on certain dates, ensuring your followers are notified when they're available.
  5. Respond to Real-World Events. Consider creating Collections addressing timely needs, like Back to School, Natural Disasters, or Wars. As people seek biblical guidance and hope during these moments, your Plans can provide support and encouragement.
  6. Optimize for Multiple Languages. If you have Plans in multiple languages, you can create unique Collections per language. Certain languages and cultures may respond better to different content or titles.
