License Management

Updated 20 minutes ago by Jillian Galley

Learn how to view all of the developers who are accessing your Bible text in a simple dashboard with information on how to export this data, as well as how to remove and re-grant access.

Note: You will need to request specific access for those on your YouVersion Connect account to have access to the Licensee page. Reach out to the Support Team for this request, and we would be happy to help!

How To View Developer Information:

  1. Select Licensees in YouVersion Connect.
  2. Select the name of the developer under Application Name.
  3. From here you can see: legal entity type, link to the developer's app, revocation status, website, email address, and address.

When developers accept the terms of agreement, their license status will automatically show as Approved. You can always revoke later if you need to.

How To Filter Your Licenses:

  1. Select the timeframe you want to view the licenses in: (All time, 7 days, or 28 days).
  2. Select the status of Partners you want to view (All Partners, Approved, Unapproved, or Reported).
  3. Select which profit type you want to view (All Profit Types, For Profit, or Non Profit).
  4. Select the revocation status (All Revocation Status, Revoked, Pending, or Open).

If you are looking for a specific developer, enter their name in the search bar (top right).

How To Export Your Licenses:

  1. Select Export.
  2. Select the date range you want to view the data.
  3. Select Begin Export.
  4. Choose where to save the file on your device.

How To Revoke Access:

You can request immediate access removal for a developer by selecting Revoke. This will send an email notifying the developer why they no longer have access.
  1. Log into YouVersion Connect.
  2. Select Licensees.
  3. Select Revoke IP next to the developer you are looking for.

How To Regrant Access:

You can regrant access to a developer if they made the necessary corrections after being revoked.
  1. Log into YouVersion Connect.
  2. Select Licensees.
  3. Select the revocation status next to the developer you are looking for.
  4. Select the reason for regranting access.
    1. No longer commercial.
    2. Faith issues rectified.
    3. Now within the agreement terms.
    4. Other. If you select Other, enter your reason in the description area.
  5. Select Submit. Once you select submit, this will send an email to the developer, notifying them they have been regranted access to your IP.
