How to Create and Schedule a Post

Discover how to create and publish a Post to engage with your Church in the YouVersion Bible App, along with scheduling your Post to go live on a specific date.

How To Create/Publish A Post

1. Sign in to YouVersion Connect if you aren’t already.
2. Tap on the Posts tab.
3. If you have more than one church location, choose whether you want to make a Post for one location or all of them.
4. Tap Create Post.
5. Enter the title and content of the Post.
6. Select Post Now, then confirm by selecting Post Now again to publish immediately.
7. Once published, the Post will:
   1. Appear on your Page.
   2. Remain visible for a maximum of 7 days, unless it is replaced or archived.
   3. Send a push notification.

How To Schedule A Post

1. Sign in to YouVersion Connect if you aren’t already.
2. Tap on the Posts tab.
3. If you have more than one church location, choose whether you want to make a Post for one location or all of them.
4. Tap Create Post.
5. Enter the title and content of the Post.
6. Choose a start and end date and time (up to 7 days from the start date).
7. Select Schedule Post. Confirm by selecting Schedule Post to have the Post automatically published at the scheduled time.
8. Once published, the Post will:
   1. Appear on your Page at the scheduled start time.
   2. Remain visible until the end date & time, unless it is replaced or archived.
   3. Send only one push notification when it first goes live.
