Thank you so much for saying yes to being a part of the beta group for sermons! We are so excited to continue to expand the features for our Church Partners. Please note - Sermons are currently only available in English.
How To Upload Your Sermon Into YouVersion Connect:
- Log into YouVersion Connect.
- Select Content on the left navigation menu.
- Select Sermons. This will take you to a form to submit your sermon content.
- Select Add Sermon.
- Give your sermon a title. Best practice is to keep this short and concise to give your Church attenders an idea of what your sermon is about.
- Enter the speaker's name. This is optional, not required.
- Enter the title of your sermon series. If you are not doing a series, you can re-enter the title of your sermon here. This is optional, not required.
- Enter a description for your video. Note: The character limit is 500.
Your description needs to be the same language as the video. If you set your video language as Spanish, the description also needs to be in Spanish.
- Add scripture references associated with your sermon.
- Select the language, version, book, and chapter. To add a second scripture reference, begin by selecting another book.
- Upload your sermon file by dragging and dropping or select Choose File.
Supported file formats include: mp4, mov, m4v, avi, & Webm.
- Upload a relevant thumbnail for your sermon by selecting Choose Image.
- Supported file formats include: jpg, png.
- File size limit: 20 MB.
- Recommended dimensions: 1920 x 1080.
- Select Submit Sermon.
- While your sermon is uploading, you can exit the page and it will still continue to upload until it's finished.
Please allow for 1-2 hours for your sermons to be published on weekdays, and allow for longer wait times on the weekends.
