YouVersion Connect Troubleshooting for Churches

If you’re experiencing technical issues/errors, please try deleting website cookies or signing in using Chrome. Please make sure you know your current credentials before attempting these steps.

Try an Incognito or Private Tab

Opening YouVersion Connect or Partner Portal in an incognito or private window can help identify if the issue is related to stored cookies, cache, or extensions.

  • Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + N (Mac).
  • Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + P (Mac).
  • Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Click File > New Private Window.

If the site works in incognito mode, try clearing your web browser's cookies, following the steps below, or disabling browser extensions.

Refresh Your Browser

Use the steps below to clear cookies on Chrome:
  1. Select the control panel icon situated before the website address.
  2. Select Cookies and site cookies.
  3. Select Manage cookies and site cookies.
  4. In the "Site you're viewing" section, select the delete button next to each address you see.
  5. Reload the page and sign in with your credentials.
Use the steps below to clear cookies on Safari:
  1. Select Preferences under the Safari menu.
  2. Select the Privacy tab.
  3. Select Manage Website Data.
  4. Type connect.youversion.com in the search box and select it.
  5. Select Remove.
Use the steps below to clear cookies on Firefox:
  1. Select the padlock situated before the website address.
  2. Select Clear cookies and site data.
  3. Select Remove.
